Animation Magazine are reporting the confirmed date of the Clone Wars trailer. From George Lucas and Lucasfilm Animation comes the latest chapter in the Star War saga. Star Wars: The Clone Wars fills in some gaps in the story not covered by the live-action movies and the animated Cartoon Network micro-series, Star Wars: Clone Wars.

Cartoon Network, TNT, TBS, CNN and Boomerang will all broadcast the sneak peek on Thursday, May 8th at 7:58 p.m. in all U.S. time zones. The two-minute preview will then be available exclusively at the official Star Wars website, www.starwars.com, before debuting in theaters on Friday, May 9th.
