doctord is a writer and musician currently living in western New York state. He was born in the state of Maine a very long time ago, grew up in Chicago, and has also lived in the desert southwest. His writing can be found in a great many places under a variety of pseudonyms, some of which he will actually confess to if pressed.
His literary influences are manifold and include authors as disparate as HP Lovecraft and HS Thompson. He writes mainly science fiction and horror and is an avid reader of most genres, with a personal library that numbers in the thousands, mostly older sf paperbacks. While he has no books on the market, he does have a cd. A second one will be issued in 2009 while he attempts to rectify the book publication situation.
He lives with his girlfriend, five cats, two rabbits, seven guitars, four computers, various totes of crafting gear, and the aforementioned books in a very cluttered two bedroom apartment that doubles as a home office and triples as a music studio.
