Battlestar Galactica is two shows. The original was a slightly campy and cheesy but no doubt fun adventure series about a Battlestar in a different galaxy that was searching for the mythical planet of Earth. The remake was a grim and dark take on the series, changing much but gaining much acclaim in the process. A dark take on humanity indeed and powerful television.
