News: Queen + Paul Rodgers Interview

May 02nd, 2008 | Category: News, Queen Plus

Rolling Stone’s In the Studio has a quick interview with Queen and Paul Rodgers about their upcoming album, The Cosmos Rocks

The first single will likely be “C-lebrity,” which sounds like a mash-up of the brawny “All Right Now” and the harmony-soaked “Somebody to Love.” Other tracks include “We Believe,” an “epic in Queen’s traditional style,” according to May, and “Call Me,” which he says sounds like it would fit right in on Queen’s 1974 classic, Sheer Heart Attack.

News: Queen debuts “C-Lebrity” on Al Murray’s Happy Hour

April 04th, 2008 | Category: News, Queen Plus

Al Murray is a big Queen fan who always has his guests perform a Queen song to close out the show. Well tonight he had the real thing.

Queen + Paul Rodgers performed All Right Now at the end thwarting the usual Queen song finale, of course but more importantly debuted a new track from their forthcoming album.

It has a great riff, and some great Roger Taylor modulated vocals.

Here are the Queen related clips from the show, including “C-Lebrity” on YouTube:
