No commentsNews: Bale signed for THREE Terminators, Arnold?
BBC News is reporting that Christian Bale is set to play rebel leader John Connor for three sequels to the Terminator franchise!
“Christian was our first choice and he’s a big fan of The Terminator, so we’re very lucky,” Kubicek told the BBC at the Cannes Film Festival.
“But with Batman he’s already done the whole franchise thing, so we weren’t sure he’d respond.”
Luckily, said Kubicek’s business partner Derek Anderson, “he read the script and he loved it, so he’s signed on for all three.”
In perhaps a throwaway quote, there was a non-denial about Arnold reprising his role as a Terminator.
The producers would not reveal whether Arnold Schwarzenegger would reprise his role as the Terminator. Nor would they discuss character names or plot details.
Good news for Terminator fans I think.

Review: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles 1.05
“Queen’s Gambit”

Queen’s Gambit continues along the lines of Heavy Metal in that it’s making progress, but overall there’s still a lot of fledgling going around.
The best news is that it is starting to find it’s own identity instead of rehashing the films completely. Now it has to make sure it doesn’t rehash itself.

“Heavy Metal”

“Heavy Metal” is a good turning point for the Sarah Connor Chronicles…if only that Emo-John is finally gone. I say finally after only 3 episodes have passed, but it was already enough. There is also actually a real point to the developing story and some good action sequences to boot. Is it a good episode? I wouldn’t go that far, but it is a step up to average.

“The Turk”

Episode 3 takes the first steps towards trying to find it’s own two feet, but it’s still stumbling around in the darkness.
Going tried and true, Sarah goes back to the widow of Miles Dyson for information. She shows her a ton of pictures that they found in the safehouse, wanting to know if she knows anyone. She points out one specific person, named Andy Goode, who was working with Miles. Is this going to be the crutch? When in doubt go to Miles’ wife?
