This has been a bit in coming. As I’ve noted before there are times when real life gets a little too real and intense. At the same time it can also collide with just simply getting burned out. There were times when I’d watch shows and then do anything I could to get out of reviewing it simply because it just wasn’t fun anymore.
Why keep doing it then? Well I thought to myself…why did I start this? I must have enjoyed writing them at some point.
I think it started when my reviews all got to be the same and I wasn’t having a good time trying to get specifics…so the time has come to this. I think I would still enjoy it if I cut back in some fashion. SO until further notice and I reserve the right to change my mind at any time:
I will still be doing movie reviews as I watch them. As for TV, I will do the shows I’ve been doing but in much smaller format. Simply bullets of what worked, what didn’t and the grade. The only exception will be V. I will maintain that standard as my flagship.
Star Wars (and other book reviews) will also be shorter and more to the point.
Thanks for reading guys and gals. Now you should be able to get the gist of whether a show is watchable or not, without some of the bullshit. With this crazy to keep up with life world, perhaps this is a better system anyways!

Star Wars: Clone Wars and Novel Reviews Posted

Hands down one of the best episodes of the series. The whole episode from the music, the tone, the humor, and most importantly the best handling of R2-D2 since the whole shebang began, just felt like Star Wars. Most of the time the show, although spectacular, feels like a spinoff of sorts. This felt like part of one of the films.
After Anakin and Mace search for survivors from the downed Republic ship from last episode, they walk into a trap laid by young Boba Fett and his crew. They are trapped underneath a large pile of metal rubble and can’t move. Ironically after Mace decries Anakin for putting so much trust in the droid, R2 finds them. Anakin instructs him to get back to the fighters and get a communication out to the Temple.

“Welcome To the War”

New showrunner, new episodes. Any changes? Yes. While I had no problem with the first four episodes in November, this one took the ball and ran with it. The pace is faster, the world seems a bit more epic. And business is about to pick up.

is also ongoing. This will take me quite a long time to finish. At the end it is looking to be 400 cds, approximately 240 of them studio and the rest to be filled by various important live gigs. Right now I am listening to every Queen concert bootleg I have which is quite extensive. I began in the year 1973 and am now up to 1979.
The Best of will follow suit.
