V: The Final Battle originally debuted on May 6, 1984. Kenneth Johnson, creator and writer of the Original miniseries left early on during the process of the sequel and has been vocally disappointed with it since. He has declared he has only seen a few minutes of it but every minute he saw he saw the absolute wrong choices made.
