Abbot, Douglas

    Douglas was the leader of the Freeport resistance and took what Jack Page had to heart. He helped him spring Emily from Visitor occupation, and even weathered the loss of resistance members due to subliminal messaging from Northampton. He continued to fight until killed by Lt. Legrange who was looking for Jack and Emily.

    Frank Abbott and Jack Howard were hippies who lived in a commune far away from the world in the mountains.  When a Visitor skyfighter crash landed, they saved the pilots lives with some herbal tea which counteracted the red dust.  The Visitors invited them onboard the mothership and cured Frank’s cancer before demanding the sample.  Eventually the resistance destroyed their farm rather than let the Visitors have it.

    Andy was a member of The WIldcats, a street gang recruited by Kyle and Willy to help fight a diphtheria plague. Andy’s little brother was arrested by the Visitors and they used him to coerce Andy into spying on the resistance for them. Their initial raid for getting medicine was foiled when the Visitors substituted baking soda. Later Andy gave away Donovan’s position for landing his plane. Julie caught him mid transmission and turned him to his gang who didn’t want to believe it. They tied him up, so they could go help Donovan, but he got out of his bonds and jumped into his car and drove it headlong into the Visitor patrol killing them all. Andy died a hero in the end.

  • Carol Ann was an older resistance fighter who was a key component in the attack on the LA Medical Center, when she pretended to be a woman bound to a highchair. When the signal was given she rose out and helped secure the room for Julie’s display.

    Annie was a young woman living up in Ohai where the aliens had more swing than Los Angeles. She saw Donovan and Ham on the run and let them hide in their house and fed them even though her mom wasn’t thrilled. Her mom called the Visitors on them and when they left they were caught. Annie lashed into her mom and stormed off.

    Later on, she found Donovan and Tyler again, this time holding an M-16. She said she’d take Billy, a troublemaking kid, and move him up to the mountains where the red dust was still active. She invited Donovan and Ham along, but she understood that they were needed on the front line.

    Asimov, Dr. Issac

    Dr. Atkins used to work for Nathan Bates, but had retired to run a general store. He was an expert with computers. When his son hacked into the Visitor mainframe, he quickly thought about how he could get that to the resistance. Unfortunately Lt. James came looking for the hacker. To save his son, he told him to leave and allowed himself to be captured.

    Diana quickly discovered in the conversion process that Dr. Atkins was covering for his son, so he was sent back to prison.

    Philip was able to free Dr. Atkins and reunited him with his son, Henry.

    Henry was a computer expert, living with his father. He figured out how to hack into the Visitor mainframe and caused problems. When Lt. James came looking for them, his father allowed himself to be captured so Henry could escape.

    Soonafter he was found by Donovan and Kyle who were looking for his father as well. He agreed to help them stop a massive invasion via a computer program, in exchange for them freeing his father.

    He was able to use the computers in Science Frontiers to stop the invasion while Philip saved his father and reunited them.

    Attweiler, Durk

    Durk was a farmer in Carolina who kept to himself most of the time, until the Visitors plan to unleash verlogs and crivits up and down the east coast interfered with his plans. Attweiler than led a newly formed resistance attack with Chris Faber to destroy the Visitor animals.

    Abdul was a member of an Israeli-Arab network who was working against the Visitors, especially when they began attacking the oil producers. He partnered with Lavi Mayer.

    Baer, Chris (CB)

    Chris was the adopted son of Matt Jones (and later Tomoko). He watched his parents being eaten alive before he escaped and seeked vengeance. He took in with Jones after Matt’s wife split. The two became a fighting team like Batman and Robin. When the threat of the “Alien Swordmaster” played out, CB went with Matt to Japan to figure out just what was going on.

    The reunited Jones family decided to move across country to Washington where they would be away from lizards. Just before they left Julie Parrish gave them a sample of a Visitor metal called papnium which they were producing that would allow them to send fighters and armored units into human controlled territories without worry of the red dust. Reluctantly they agreed to pass it on to scientists in Washington. They were attacked soon after but escaped in a stolen skyfighter.

    The Jones family ran into Willy along the way and he helped calm them and show them their destiny in a Zon-meditation ritual.

    The Jones family was captured by Medea, but then were rescued by the return of Fieh Chan/Kenzo Sugihara who declared he was none of those people anymore.

    Chris grew very close to Nadia Tedescu, only to learn she was a convert. She helped capture him for Dingwall, but he was able to convince her to fight her conditioning. When Dingwall discovered this, he killed the girl. Chris was rescued by Fieh Chan and they went to help the Jones family fight Dingwall and Medea’s plot.

    Chris was devastated when Matt was killed but was happy to be a part of a new family with Tomoko and Fieh Chan…and a baby brother.

    Baker, Ellen

    Sister to Tony. Ellen was a Wildcat, a street gang recruited by Kyle and Willy to assist fighting a diphtheria plague. Ellen fell in love with Willy unaware of his true identity. After a few mishaps it was obvious there was a spy within the resistance/Wildcats team, but Ellen didn’t know who. Willy finally admitted to Ellen that he was a Visitor, which caused Ellen to be distraught and run off blind into the night where she fell into a ravine. With help from Elizabeth, the resistance was able to find her and get her back to the surface.

    It was discovered that Andy was the spy, and Ellen went with the resistance to lay down cover fire for Donovan. She forgave Willy and the two would become friends.

    Baker, Tony

    Tony was the leader of the Wildcats. At first he didn’t seem too enthused to join up with Kyle and Willy, but is convinced when he realizes that diphtheria would kill them all. It is discovered quickly that there is a spy in the resistance/Wildcat team, and Tony is very touchy. Willy comes to tell Tony that Ellen has run off, and Tony sees his ripped wrist and discovers that Willy is a lizard. Kyle, Julie, and Elizabeth vouch for Willy, but Ellen is more important to Tony at the time, so they run off to find her.

    It is discovered that Andy is the traitor, although Tony doesn’t want to believe it. Tony goes with the resistance to lay down cover fire for Donovan, when Andy saves the day. Tony earns Kyle’s respect and vice versa.

    Barnes, Professor Morton

    Ruth worked under Dr. Metz, with Julie Parrish. She was skeptical about the Vistor’s arrival and was able to sample some skin from WIlly, when he saved Caleb. She worked on it and told Julie about it, and Julie realized how deeply in love with Dr. Metz she was. Julie vowed to start working on that. But it was not meant to be as Ruth was killed by a shock trooper moments later.

Annie used to babysit Billy and agreed to take him up to the mountains with her where the red dust was still active.

    Brother to Barry and Sandy. Dean helped his brother run the skate shop that covered for the resistance in Playa del Mar. He is a guilt ridden young man who was supposed to have picked his sister, Sandy up from school, but had forgotton. He arrived ten minutes late and his sister had been picked up by the Visitors. Dean was very pessimistic and wanted to kill Donovan and Julie for being spies until they proved themselves. He went along with their plan to destroy the food processing convention, but spotted Sandy in with the convertees and human prisoners. He wanted to rescue her, but Barry told her to forget it. During the raid, they were able to rescue her, reuniting the family.

After Donovan got arrested, Billy, a kid from town found Willy and Boyce and they went to rescue them and help Sparkling Springs repel an alien attack.

    Bozz led a town full of kids whose parents were abducted by the Visitors.  His rule was cut short when Donovan, Julie, and Bron showed up and kids began to listen to them.  Bozz tried to take Bron out and was knocked around.  He soon discovered that Bron was a Visitor and used that to regain control and sentence Donovan and company to death.  The Visitors attacked before that though, and everyone fought together, gaining respect.  Bozz and Donovan and Julie parted as friends.

After Kathleen was killed, Janus stood by Walker and assisted him in trying to figure out what was going on. When the two were captured by Visitors, they were tortured. With the help of a Fifth Columnist they escaped from the ship, but Janus was hunted down.

    Josh was a friend of Sean Donovan’s. He collected the toys that were created upon the Visitors arrival. One night, the aliens invaded their town of San Pedro. He lost his parents quickly, and Marjorie Donovan grabbed him and pulled him inside. He hid in a closet and watched as the aliens took Marjorie and Sean away. They missed him in the proceedings and he was left all alone until Donovan came up to investigate. Donovan took Josh and brought him to Fran Leonetti’s to watch. When she joined up with the resistance, Josh became a defacto leader of sort for the young kids. He was eventually reunited with Sean after they traded him for Mike Donovan.

    After the Final Battle, he remained hopeful that they would bring his parents down from the mothership.

    Browne, Ian

    Husband to Mrs. Caniff, father to Nicky. George Caniff ran Caniff Printing Press, which published newsletters for the resistance. Robin Maxwell went in there to spread the word that the resistance was not behind the attacks on Science Frontiers that the Visitors tried to frame them for, when Mr. Chiang’s underlings took everyone hostage. The plan was to order the resistance leaders to give themselves up or else they would die one by one. Caniff drew the first slot, but John Langley immediately switched with him due to Caniff having a family. The resistance was able to spring Caniff and the others.

    Alex was a member of a fifth column cell that is taken out by an assassin although he escapes. He is tracked down by Father Jack and taken in. When it is discovered that the assassin has his hard drive with fifth column contacts on it, they use him as bait to draw the assassin out but when he panics, he is shot and killed by the assassin.

    The reunited Jones family decided to move across country to Washington where they would be away from lizards. Just before they left Julie Parrish gave them a sample of a Visitor metal called papnium which they were producing that would allow them to send fighters and armored units into human controlled territories without worry of the red dust. Reluctantly they agreed to pass it on to scientists in Washington. They were attacked soon after but escaped in a stolen skyfighter.

    The Jones family ran into Willy along the way and he helped calm them and show them their destiny in a Zon-meditation ritual.

    The Jones family was captured by Medea, but then were rescued by the return of Fieh Chan/Kenzo Sugihara who declared he was none of those people anymore.

    When Chris was captured, Matt went all out to find him and after Fieh Chan rescued the boy, the Jones family went on to foil Dingwall and Medea’s plot, however Matt sacrificed his life to save Fieh Chan to fulfill the vision that he saw with Willy in which Tomoko and Fieh Chan would be happy together.

    He confesses this to Julie who tries to stop him unsuccessfully.

    Diana does betray him and begins to convert him when Donovan and Willy rescue him, although he doesn’t want to go.  He knocks Donovan out and is able to get back into a fighter and fly towards the ship, but is stopped by three squad vehicles.  His device goes off to soon and he only kills the three pilots and himself but he becomes a martyr for Earth.

He helped Donovan plan out strategies but warned Jessie not to get to close to Donovan. When he overheard that Lt. James was looking for Donovan, he rushed home to tell the hero, but found Jessie first. When Jessie found out, she ran off to attack despite Joe’s pleas. Joe stayed behind and warned the resistance once they arrived. He went with the resistance to fight off Karnes and the Visitors.
