40 years old, Marcus is Anna’s second in command, her constant companion in public. He works together with Anna, working to propagandize the people of Earth into believing that the Visitors are peace-loving friends of all humanity.

Marcus leads the vendettas against both the Fifth Column and the resistance and is troubled by the graffitti left at Cyrus’ by Ryan stating that John May Lives.

Marcus is still at odds with Anna at times believing in a far more direct approach.

After the “Lisa” attack, Hobbes reaches out to Marcus with the research that Lawrence Parker has been doing. Marcus meets with Hobbes and agrees to turn over what the Vs have on Hobbes and funding in exchange for Parker’s research.

Marcus blackmails Hobbes by intimating that they’ve found “her”. After Erica destroys the eggs, Marcus tries to stop Anna from escalating things, but is unsuccessful. During the confusion, he has a team revive Joshua who had been shot in the chest by Erica.
