Actually, the comma can either be used or not used as what you are referring to is more of a syntax issue and not a written issue. In written form the sentence, "I am Russian doctor" is clear in its intent, the only time the comma becomes necessary is when you are saying it aloud in your head without the written view and need to sort out the sentence for yourself. Trust me, my Lit teacher was very big on this difference and trying to change it in popular writing, and being his disciple I do agree. You are right about the apostrophe, although that was a simple typo as you can see from the other numerous times times I wrote Hunters without the apostrophe.

I'm glad you enjoyed it, always good to hear, and thanks for all the feedback.

"I am Russian doctor. We understand these things."

No, Ivanova is not (a) Russian doctor. She is speaking TO the doctor, and thus the sentence requires a comma before the direct address. There is a huge difference between "Eat, my friends" and "Eat my friends".

Also "Soul Hunter’s" - tsk, tsk. No apostrophe in plurals.

Other than that, an enjoyable read. Thanks.
