Tiscali Games - site has scored first few pictures from the upcoming game title, Quantum of Solace, which is based on the upcoming movie, ‘Quantum of Solace’ and ‘Casino Royale’ which was the first movie in the series to feature current Bond actor, Daniel Craig.

The game will switch between 1st and 3rd person views. Game will also mark the first game to be published by Activision, that won the rights after EA Games’s options had expired. It’s also the first Bond game for the next-gen systems and the first one to feature the likeness of Daniel Craig. (The last two games featured Pierce Brosnan & Sean Connery, in their respected order)

Quantum of Solace uses modified Call of Duty 4 engine.

James Bond creator Ian Lancaster Fleming was born exactly 100 years ago (May 28, 1908) to parent’s Valentine Fleming & Evelyn St. Croix Fleming.

He was best known for his James Bond novels. But he also worked as a sub-editor and journalist for the Reuters news service.
He served in World War II as he was recruited in Royal Navy, where he later gained the rank of Commander. He conveyed plans for Naval Intelligence, one of them being named Operation Goldeneye. It’s been said that many of his inspirations for the characters and stories for his James Bond novels came from his time spend during the war.

He is a distant cousin to still living actor Christopher Lee, who played Scaramanga aka The Man with the Golden Gun.

Ian Fleming died in August 12, 1964, in Canterbury, Kent, England, in a heart attack.
